Most LAHC clients are either
employed or seeking employment
and for some reason have fallen
behind in rent or utility bills. Their
needs are. immediate though tem-
porary and this is where LAHC
comes in and keeps them from
"falling through the cracks."
Each of the churches belonging
to the Lewes-Rehoboth Associa-
tion of Churches is represented by
two or more parishioners and their
pastors, with each church pledg-
ing a monthly amount to LAHC.
No monies are directly paid to
clients, rather made to the vendor
or landlord.
The local businesses and mem-
bership of the association church-
es have been very generous in
their donations of time and money
to LAHC and the organization is
most grateful for all of their help
in carrying out their good work.
