CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, June 9 - June 15, 1995 - 29 Church Schedule Metropolitan Community Church plans reception to unveil raffle drawing June 17 The Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) of Rehoboth Beach has received a drawing donated by Washington, D.C. artist Mary Beth Ramsey, to benefit the Jeffrey D. Goeringer Memorial Building Fund. Church lay pastor, David Patterson, said "the church is very excited by Mary Beth Ramsey's donation. A drawing of hers recently went for over $2,000 in live auction at last September's Sundance." Ramsey's drawing will be the prize in an art raffle being held throughout the summer, with a presentation reception slated for Saturday, June 17 at Cloud 9 restaurant, 239 Rehoboth Avenue. A party is slated by invitation only from 3 to 4 p.m., with the reception, continuing until 6 p.m., open to the public. (Anyone wishing to receive an invitation to the private party should contact Patterson at 226-0816. A $5 minimum donation is suggested.) Cloud 9 has donated the champagne and light hors d'oeuvres for the reception and Seashore Galleries has donated the framing for Ramsey's drawing. The drawing will be on display at Cloud 9 through the remainder of the summer, where tickets, $4.99 each, will be available when the winning entry will be drawn at 6 p.m., Sept. 4 at Cloud 9. Various other locations where tickets may be purchased will be announced in the future. For further information contact Patterson or the J.D. Goeringer Memorial Building Fund, P.O.
