RAL announces craft exhibit winners
The Rehoboth Art League opened its 22nd Members Craft
Exhibit on Friday, June 2, which continues in the
Corkran/Tubbs Galleries through July 13. Receiving a Ju-
ror's Award of Excellence was llumpbacks", a wood scull)-
ture by Donald L. Richter of Millsboro. Also receiving
Awards of Excellence were =Stoneware Kettle" by Alan
Burslem of Arden; '2rescent Box" by Henry Krysiak of Wilm-
inlFon; UFantasy Tree F' by Sandra L. Robbins of Rehoboth
Beach; =Leaning to the Left" by Susan Stockman of St.
Michael's, Md.; and =Antler Basket" by Bea Whitehead of Lin-
cel--
Those receiving honorable mentions were Boulder Opal
Chokea a' by Hollis Espceite of latmbertville, NI.; %a-tle" by
Susan and Sara Ga/rert of Rehoboth Beach; "Coral Reef' by
Ester Klima of Lewes; UClocl¢' by George O'Brien of Lewes;
Hag" by Patti Shreeve of Rehoboth Beach; and Hen Par-
ty by Helen Wynn of Frankford.
Judge was Ernest Satchell, a petter from Princess Anne,
Md.
All Saints' Antique Show a tradition
This is the 46th year for the All Saints' Episcopal Parish Antiques
Show, slated this year Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 8-10 at Re-
hoboth Beach Convention Hail.
There will be 29 antiques dealers represented at this year's show, a
number of them new dealers, but many the regular dealers who have be-
come so popular in the area. James Kilvington, Melvin Arion, At the
Sign of the Sycamore, Josephine Hart Thrasher, Pet's Pickin's, Archer's
Antiques, McNiel-Reed, A.E. Runge and Tova's Treasures are just
some of the names of those who have signed on.
A gala preview will be held the night before the doors open for gener-
al attendance. This year's event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday,
Aug. 7. The $15 donation that night also includes daily admission and is
payable at the door. Hours during the show are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tues-
day and Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday. Daily admission is
$3 and one may return as often as one wishes.
