• The Bridges of Madison
County: Romantic drama about a
"National Geographic" photogra-
pher named Robert Kincaid who,
while stopping to ask directions,

ian-born Iowa farm wife
Francesca Johnson, a woman who
embarks on a torrid, four-day love
affair with Kincald and ultimately
changes his life. Stars ClinfEast-
wood and Meryl Streep.
• Fluke: A murdered man
comes back as a dog to nail his
killer. Stars Matthew Modine,
Nancy Travis, Eric Stoltz and
Max Pomeranc. Rated PG.
• The Englishman Who Went
Up a Hill But Came Down a
Mountain: When a mild-man-
nered Englishman's measure-
ments dictate that a Welsh vil-
lage's mountain is not tall enough
to be a mountain and should be re-
classified as a hill, a local bar-
tender leads the town to take the
Englishman hostage until they can
build up to mountain height.

Chicken Festival
adds boat show
A new attraction has been added
to the Delmarva Chicken Festival
schedule this weekend.
For the first time in the festi-
val's history, a boat show will
take place along the banks of the
Marshyhope Creek at the Recre-
ation Park and Marina, site of the
47th annual festival. Wayne Cole,
a local businessman, employed
with H&M Transport in Hurlock,
Md., charged with organizing
the boat show, which will show
off Federalsburg's recently refur-
bished marina area.
The Dehnarva Chicken Festival
is sponsored annually by Delmar-
va Poultry Industry, Inc.
