June 19, 2003 - 79 VonGoerres named chJL:f pharmacist at Lewes Happy Harry's Happy Harry's Discount Drug Stores has appointed Herb Von- Goerres R.Ph., as pharmacist in charge of the Lewes Beach loca- tion at 149 Savannah Road. Von- Goerres is a native of the Lewes area and has been employed by the chain for eight years, working at its Rehoboth and Bethany Beach locations. "Happy Harry's is a part of all the communities we serve, and we take special delight when our pharmacists and store managers can return to work in the commu- trifles in which they were raised," said Alan Levin, president and CEO of Happy Harry's. VonGoerres takes an active role in the community and its environ- ment. He is on the board of direc- tors for the Delaware Shore Preservation Foundation and the Delaware River and Bay Light- house Foundation. He is also a member of the Lewes Yacht Club and the Antique & Classic Boat Society.
