54 - CAPE GAZETYE, Friday, June 19 - June 25, 1998 'Rehoboth Today' and 'Lewes Today' to sponsor Home-Land Expo What could possibly be missing in the resort towns of Rehoboth and Lewes? According to Rick Bell and Bob Benson, owners of the Internet magazines "Rehoboth Today" and "Lewes Today" <www.rehoboth- day.corn> and <www.lewesto- day.corn>, a "Home and Land Ex- po" at the height of the tourist sea- son is just what the area needs to stimulate area businesses and help those planning a move to the com- munities. The !998 Home and Land Expo is scheduled for Thursday through Friday, Aug. 20-22, in the Fellow- ship Hall of Bethel United Methodist Church, Lewes. "The Cape resort area is a popu- lar destination for many of the re- tired or soon-to-be retired resi- dents of the surrounding cities and suburban communities," said Benson. "For them to effectively investi- gate and plan their ultimate relo- cation, they need to dedicate con- siderable time, energy and ex- pense just to get the lay of the land," added Benson. "With our Home and Land Expo, a prospec- tive resident can accomplish the same goal in far less time because everything is available under one roof." With no charge for admission, Home and Land Expo visitors can browse area Realtors, developers, builders, mortgage companies, and other home-related services in the air-conditioned comfort of the spacious Fellowship Hall of the Bethel United Methodist Church. The hall is conveniently located adjacent to Beebe Medical Center on Fourth Street in Lewes. "We intend to make this event a mainstay of the area, similar to the highly successful antique show held every year at Bethel Church that draws thousands of visitors," Bell said. "Bob and I founded 'Rehoboth Today' and 'Lewes Today' to help local businesses reach their distant customers. Sponsoring this event is just one of the many ways we intend to achieve our goal," said Bell. For more information or to re- serve a space at the Home and Land Expo, contact Bob Benson at 645-0255.
