She is survived by her mother, Ida Shockley; son, Bill Ireland of Frankford; daughter, Denise Ful- mer of Georgetown; grandchil- dren, Nikki, Billy, Jessica, Alexis, Denise, Daniel and Michael; one great-grandchild, Emily; her brother, Donald Shoekley; and sisters, Ruth Buchanon and Kathleen Roberts. A memorial service will be 3 p.m., saturday, June 20, at the Sel- byville Elks Lodge, Route 113, Bishopville, Md. In lieu of flow- ers, the family suggests memori- al contributions in Janet's memo- ry to Beebe Medical Center, 424 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958. Theresa C. Hopkins, retail manager- Theresa Cecelia Hopkins, 65, of Felton, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at her home surrounded by her family. Born Nov. 29, 1943, in Mc- Daniel, Md., she was the daugh- ter of the late Leo Otto and Mar- garet Adelia Callahan Schultz. She graduated June 7, 1963, from St. Michaels High School. On June 21, 1963, she married Allen B. Hopkins. She worked as a re- tail store manager for 20 years, working at Shore Stop and Fami- ly Dollar. She is survived by her husband of 46 years; her children, Kim- berly Hopkins and her husband Howard Willis of Felton, Stacey Lawson and her husband David Lawson of Harrington, and Brian Hopkins and his wife Joann Hop- kins of Frederica; six grandchil- dren, Aaron Hopkins and Alexis Willis, both of Felton, and Travis, lessica, Bethany and Madison Lawson, all of Harrington; one great-grandson, Gavin Hopkins; and step-grandchildren, Kevin Presto and Mary Johnson. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, John W. Schultz of Lewes, Louise A. Marshall of Easton, Md., Marie Cheezum of Queenstown, Md., James F. Schultz of Easton, Casey Schultz of St. Michaels, Md., Annette Krickbaum of Easton, Harry Schultz of Easton, May Jurceka of Easton and Adelia Faulkner of Houston. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kisa Renee Hopkins. Services will be 11 am., Mon- day, June 22, at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, Easton, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 2t. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Easton. Hazel M. Clendaniel, Kent County retiree Hazel M. Clendaniel, 89, passed away in the Westminster Nursing Home Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Hazel was born Oct. 15,1919, in Dover, the daughter of the late Kenneth T. Meredith and Mar- garet Tarburton Meredith. She was a graduate of Dover High School class of 1937. She worked for the Kent County Sheriff's Of- fice, retiring from the Kent County Levy Court in 1980 after 28 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, putting together puzzles and reading. She was a 75-year mem- ber of Capital Grange No. 18, a 4- H Club member, Kent County Order of Links member and at- tended Peoples Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Clendaniel; a sister, Louise M. Reynolds; and a granddaughter, Sandra Nicker- son. She is survived by two daugh- ters, Rebecca Watts of Lewes, and Janet Lloyd and her husband Ray of Feltorg one son, Kenneth Clendaniel and his wife Donna of Dover; grandchildren, Tommy Nickerson, Kendra Dechenes and husband Neff, Matthew Clendaniel and wife Amber, Tara Stone, Tim Brady and wife Brid- gete, Alan Lloyd and wife Jaime, Rusty Llbyd and Cody Lloyd; great-grandchildren,  Nick- erson, Seth and Sean Dechenes, Jackson Clendaniel, Brielle Schiff, Zack and Cameron Stone, Codie Tribbitt and Jordan Brady, Shannon Jones, Shawn Riley, Ada and Nora Lloyd; one great-great- grandson, Wyatt Nickerson; a special niece, Nancy Roy of Dover; and many more nieces and nephews. Remembrance services will be noon, Monday, June 22, at the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover, where family and friends may call one hour before. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a fa- vorite charity. Lucas, 57, of Dover, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009, at home surrounded by family. Mr. Lucas was born April 22, 1952, in Hinton, WTCa., to the late Herman and Lena DePriest Lu- Cas.
