Cape Gazette ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT FR,DAY, JUNE 19- MONDAY, JUNE 22, 2009 89 Cape Henlopen Senior Center to stage annual variety show June 27-28 The Cape Henlopen Senior Center will present its annual va- riety show at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 27, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 28, at Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Hol- land Glade Road north of Re- hoboth Beach. This year's show, "Age of Aquarius," is produced and di- rected by ]une Crowley and fea- tures the Cape Henlopen Singers and Swingers, the Tapsations, Seashore Dancers, the new Dancing Queens tap group and the senior center group Three Hits and a Miss. The show will include music, songs and skits such as 'quarius," "Joy to the World," "Tomorrow" and an Elvis medley. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 10 and are on sale now at the center, 11 Christian St., Rehoboth Beach. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance. STEVEN BILLUPS PHOTOS MEMBERS OF THE CAPE HENLOPEN SENIOR CENTER spent the morning of Wednesday, June 10, rehearsing for the 30th Annual Variety Show titled this year "Aquarius." The show features a variety of songs from the center's chorus and is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the center. The performance is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday June 27-28. The Saturday show is slated for 7 p.m. and the Sunday show is scheduled at 2 p.m. Prices for tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children. Accompanying the chorus are Cork Waiters on the accordionand Charlie Tumi- ni on trumpet.
