Back in 1922, The Visiting Nurse Association d Delaware was started as a way to provide heaRhcare to homebound patients. The mission of those first 20 nurses was to provide a caring, nur- turing environment for the patient while recuperating at home. Over the next 75 years, we developed new services like home medical equipment, personal care services, and in home I.V. thera- pies - all designed to make it possible for the people of Ddaware toheal in their own homes. VNA now has over 1200 employees statewide. But on thing hasn't changed since 1922 - we still believe in the healing power of home.
