League Capital Campaign is
paying for construction of
several fields on the Glade
Road complex known as Ep-
worth United Methodist
Park with fencing, conces-
sion stand, lights, score-
boards, dugouts and a vari-
ety of other improvements al-
lowing the league to play in
first class conditions.

Fishing Report

this summer for trout and floun-
der. Gene Racz of R & R Sports
said he did very well this week
with culprit salt and pepper
worms. He also tipped the jighead
and worm with clam (lips or strips
depending on who you talk to).
Indian River
The South Pocket at Indian Riv-
er Inlet has produced some keeper
rockfish on white bucktails tipped
with worms. There have also been
trout caught at night on mirrolures
and school blues caught on wind-
cheater plugs in the inlet area.
Small rockfish are showing up
in Massey's Ditch and flounder
fishing is reported to be good in
the back bays. Well upriver, white
perch continue to please anglers.
Surf
Surf action is producing a
mixed.bag with some school
blues, kingfish, blowfish, trout
and rockfish. There are fish to be
had, but the action fends to be a
little spotty.'

Whitewater raring
trip Aug 7-9
The Reformation Lutheran
Church of Milford is sponsoring a
whitewater rafting trip at Ohiopy-
le Aug. 7-9. The cost of the trip is
$35, which will be used to pay the
fee for rafting. The camp charges
will be paid by the Youth Ministry
funds and monies earned through
the collection of aluminum cans.
Registration must be made by
June 29, with checks made
payable to the' Reformation
Lutheran Church. Those attending
the trip should meet at 1:30 p.m.
on Aug, 7 in the church parking
lot. Departure time is 2 p.m. and
the group will return by 4 p.m. on
June 9. Anyone 12 and older is in-
vited to participate.
Soccer tourney at
County fair
The Latina De Futbol de Del-
marva soccer league will host a
soccer tournament during the Sus-
se x County Fair at the George---
town Airpark on Friday, July 4 be-
ginning at 1:30 pan.
Three games will be played si-
multaneously in the tournament,
which will feature the top three
teams in the iS-team Delmarva
League, two teams from New
York and one from North Caroli-
na. There will be successive
rounds to determine the first, sec-
ond, third and fourth place finish-
ers.
In addition to the tournament
there will also be at least one exhi-
bition game. An African team
from Washington, D.C., will play
Delmarva's Group A All-Star
team.
'Magic' soccer camps
offered in July
The Wizard Magic Soccer
Camps, presented by the
Delaware Wizards Professional
Soccer Club, will be at Delaware
Technical & Community College
during the weeks of July 7-1 t and
July 14-18. The fee for the camps
is $75 per week.
