Schneider Jr. of Denison, Texas. She was formerly married to Rob Gano. Before her retirement Martha was a dental hygienist at Maple- wood Dental Associates with 29 years of service. Martha had many interests and talents, including snow ski- ing, motorcycle riding, cooking, gardening, design, skating and martial arts. She was also an avid lover of cats. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 24, at 2 p.m., at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Road, Ocean View, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Inter- ment will be held at a later date. James Edmund Mathias Sr., retired teamster James Edmund Mathias Sr., 88, of Cocoa, Fla., passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Born in 1929 in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Harry E. and Mary E. Mathias. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann (Mertz) in 1999. He was also preceded in death by his longtime compan- ion Merle Mawyer of Rehoboth Beach in 2016. He was a lifetime member of Teamster Union Lo- cal #557. He is survived by his sister Virginia Lee Stevens of Balti- more. He is also survived by his children, Darlene A. Mahoney (Kevin), Diane S. Matthews (Bob) and James E. Mathias Jr. (Amy); he had five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Wilma Walker, Midway theater employee Wilma T. Walker, 86, of Lin- coln, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family. Wilma was born in Chero- kee, Kan., July 30, 1930. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to Delaware. Wilma was a graduate of Seaford High School. She worked for A&P for 30 years in the meat depart- m e n t a n d another 20 years for Mov- ies at Midway Theater. Wil- ma enjoyed going to the movies, and doing puzzles and crosswords. More than anything, however, she enjoyed being with her family. She loved family vaca- tions and barbeques. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Thelma (Bosler) Thomas. She is survived by her three children: Patricia Bliton, Clyde T. Walker Jr., and Alan Walker; her five grandchildren: Thomas Moore, Carla Hiller, Brian Walker, Ryan Walker and Bradley Bliton; and her four great-grandchildren: T.J. Moore, Ethan Hiller, Lily Bliton, and Jameson Bliton. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, June 21, at 11 a.m., at Epworth Methodist Cemetery, Henlopen Avenue, Rehoboth Beach.
