80 - CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, July 3 - July 9, 1998 All About Herbs will kick off the summer season with an Herbal Celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 4. The event takes place at All About Herbs, 4541 Highway One, Rehoboth. Highlighting the day's events will be the unveiling of All About Herbs new Gardener's soap, created especially for the establishment by The Soap Fairy. The soap will be available for purchase and there will be samples to try out. All About Herbs will be showcasing Chesapeake Salsa and hot sauces made with Old Bay seasoning. Free samples will be given. During the day, there will be free workshops that are open to the public. At 1 p.m., Scott Blackson, above, known as the Soap Fairy, will demonstrate his soap-making technique; at 2 p.m., Suzanne Jacques, the manager of All About Herbs, seen with Blackson above, will host the herb harvest workshop, featuring a large selection of organically grown herb plants. There will also be prizes and special treats throughout the day. Richard Simmons coming to Dover Mall July 10-12 The popular purveyor of fimess books, videos and television pro- grams, Richard Simmons, is com- ing to the Dover Mall. The Simmons show is part of the mail's "Richard Simmons Health and Wellness Weekend," Friday through Sunday, July 10- 12. The mall is currently filling booth space for the weekend's "Health and Wellness Expo." Richard Simmons is world renowned for his "Sweatin' to the Oldies" videos and appearances on network television shows. His fimess program promotes health and wellness through aerobic ac- tivity and sensible eating habits. The Dover Mall appearance is part of a nationwide tour of Gen- eral Growth Properties Inc. retail malls. The Dover Mall's Health and Wellness Expo will begin Fri- day, July 10, and continue through the weekend. Exhibitors will showcase a variety of health-relat- ed goods and services. The Dover Mall stage will also be available for demonstrations and presenta- tions. On Friday, Simmons is expect- ed to do a number of appearances on local radio and television pro- grams.
