Zmijewski, age 69, of Bay View Beach near Middle- town, died Thursday, July 3, 1997 of cancer at Christiana Hospital. Mrs. Zmijewski worked at Delaware State Hospital in Wilm- ington for seven years,.,, retiring in 1987. was b0m in P.ainter, "Ca. Services were held at Young's Funeral Home, Milton, with burial in People's Memorial Park, Lewes. William L. Joseph, retired mechanic .... William L. John, William Ayers, farm worker John William Ayers, age 52. of Lewes, died Wednesday, July 2, 1997 of heart failure at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. Mr. Ayers had been a farm worker before he became dis- abled. He is survived 6y his wife of 22 years, E. Marie Headley Joseph; three daughters, Constance L. Layton and Wanda J. Pimentel, both of Dagsboro and Mildred A. Murray, of Clarksville; a step- daughter, Charlene M. Lynam of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, George E bf Hilton Head, S.C., and Ronald W. of Georgetown; three sisters, Dorothy Quillen of Lewes, Noreen Jaeger of George- town and Eleanor Glenn of Del- tona, Fla.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were held in the chapel of Melon Funeral Services, with burial in the Millsboro Cemetery, Millsboro. Contributions are suggested to Delaware Hospice, Southern Di- vision, 600 N.
