CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, July 14 - July 20, 2000 - 57 Directory helps find small business loan sources The Free Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. has just published a new booklet, "Directory of Micro Loan Sources." The booklet in- cludes information on how and where to get micro loans of up to $25,000 from participating nonprofit intermediary lenders. Under the Micro Loan Program, the Small Business Administration makes funds available to qualified nonprofit organizations, which acts as intermediary lenders. The intermediaries then funnel the funds, in the form of loans, to new and existing small businesses. Consumers can receive a copy of this booklet by sending $5 to cover the cost of printing, postage and handling to: Free Enterprise Institute - Micro Loan Sources - Dept. DMLS-0710, P.O.
