In addition to changing the menu, the restaurant is revamping its wine selection to offer more wines by the glass and former Ann Marie's chef Bill Karrow has returned to the fold. One other significant change is that Ann Marie's Seafood and Italiano Restaurant plans to begin opening for breakfast and lunch after the Hampton Inn next door opens later this year. Until then, the restaurant will continue to open at 4 p.m. daily. Staff tends to be a family affair at the restaurant with Chef Bill's morn helping make layers of mile-high eggplant parmigiana and other creations with her son. In addition, the 20-year veteran salad lady Matilda Hernandez is still hard at work. Some of the restaurant special- ties include: the crab pita appetiz- er with diced vine ripened toma- toes, fresh basil, lump crab meat and provolone cheese on toasted pita bread and the "seafood lover's treat" of lobster, shrimp and scallops saut6ed in a delicious marinara sauce served over lin- guini. The restaurant is known for its lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, fresh fish selections, whole lob- ster, and crabmeat, shrimp and scallops dish served over rice.
