Directions will be posted at the park gate. The host for this service will be Israel United Methodist Church and coffee and donuts will follow. Campers, visitors and locals are welcome. UUSD to discuss change on July 30 The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware (UUSD) will dis- cuss change at their Sunday, July 30 worship service. The Rev. Keith Goheen will offer a mediation on things that change, things that don&apos;t and how to live among them, with his sermon "Times and Tides." Oak Orchard Church sets Bible school The Community Church of )ak Orchard will hold Vacation Bible School from 6:30-9 p.m., nightly, Monday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Aug. 18. The school will feature music, videos, crafts, games, food and lots of fun. Everyone is urged to preregister with Linda at 945=0633. St. George's Chapel open to public St. George's Episcopal Chapel, located in Indian River Hundred, will be open to the public from 14 p.m., every Tuesday and Thursday, through Aug. 3 I. Land for the chapel was deeded in 1706 to a congre- gation of 200 people, and services began in 1719. The original building was made of oak, destroyed by fire in 1792 and rebuilt in 1794, of bricks which were fired in an area behind the chapel. In 1850, the chapel was redesigned and again remodeled in 1882 in Victorian Goth- ic style. In 1916, a vestibule with open belfry was added and in 1955, the present tower.was erected. In 1966, the chapel was restored to its original Colonial design and appearance. Historic St. George's Chapel is located on Beaver Dam Road, known as County Road 23, and is open year-round for Sunday services. For details, call the office at 227-7202. New priests arrive at St. Edmond's Parish St. Edmond's Parish welcomed two new priests to its community on June 23, as Bishop Michael Saltarelli of the Diocese of Wilmington ap- pointed Father Raymond L. Forester as pastor of St. Edmond's/St. Jude's Churches and Father James D. Hreha as assistant pastor, with special responsibility for St. Jude's Mission. Previously, Father Forester was pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Perryville, Md. and al- so responsible for two missions, St. Agnes in Rising Sun and St. Teresa of Avila in Port Deposit. Father Hreha comes from St. Peter the Apos- tle in New Castle. Father Philip Sheekey is now serving the Diocese at St. Patrick/St, Mary's Parish in Wilmington. Midway Assembly sets 'A vow to Cherish' Midway Assembly of God Church will feature the new film "A Vow to Cherish" at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, July 30, at the church, Route I and Postal Lane, Midway between Lewes and Rehoboth. The film concerns a loving Christian couple devoted to each other and their children until the wife, Ellen, is diagfiosed with a devastating illness. The family is severely challenged, leading the husband, John, to face the reality of his marriage vows. "'A Vow to Cherish' is tremendously personal and deeply emotional," said Pastor Gary Ross.
