Oney, worked in food service Helena Lydia Houston Oney, 83, of Georgetown, died of com- plications of strokes and pneumo- nia Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003, in Bay- heaRh-Milford Memorial Hospi- tal, Milford. Mrs. Oney retired in 1982 after more than 30 years with the state of Delaware in food service. She worked many of those years at William C. Jason High School in Georgetown. When the school closed in 1967, she transferred to Central High School, from which she retired. She supported the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association and the Easter Seals Society. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rimberly En- gram. She is survived by her husband, Granville F. Oney of George- town; three daughters and sons- in-law, Mary Ann and Dr. Marvin Morals of Millsboro, Dr. Helena O. and Henry Mishoe of Der- wood, Md. and Sonia O. and Michael D. Robinson of East Windsor, N.J.; a son and daugh- ter-in-law, George E and Vernice E Oney of Milton; six grandchil- dren; a great-grandchild; and three sisters, Marie Baugh of Georgetown, Sarah Bethards of Millsboro and Sally Pratt of Brooklyn, N.Y. Services will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 9, in Grace United Methodist Church, Market Street, Georgetown, where friends may call two hours earlier. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milford. Charles V. Robertson, owned print shop Charles Vernon Robertson, 85, of Delmar, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003, at home. Mr. Robertson was born Jan. 15, 1918, in Mt. Vernon, Md., the son of the late Vernon Gray Robertson and Myra Edith Lloyd Robertson. He attended and grad- uated from Nanticoke School. He served in the U.S. Army for five years during World War II, including combat in North Africa and Italy. He and his wife owned and op- erated Charlie's Print Shop in Sal- isbury, Md., from 1956 to 1980. His hobbies included garden- ing, fishing, archaeology and In- dian artifacts and antique cars, tractors and engines. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Delmar for more than 50 years and served on the vestry as a senior warden. He was a charter member of the Eastern :Shore chapter of the Antique Au- tomobile Club of America and a member of the board of directors of the Eastern Shore Thresher- man's and Collectors Association A/C PROBLEMS? All are Inc. He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Gray Robertson; and a sister, Elizabeth Robertson Covington. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Parker Whipple Robertson; a daughter and son-in- law, Charlotte Lynn and Tom Trice of Salisbury; three grand- sons, Douglas Gray Trice, An- drew Michael Trice and Thomas Charles Trice and his wife Ken'i; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Cassidy Trice; two sisters, Mildred Robertson Moody of Raleigh, N.C. and Ellen Jane Jones and her husband Cecil of Lewes; and a brother, Donald Barnes Robertson and his wife Louise of Keenwick. He worked at Millman's Ap- pliances until he was injured on the job, resulting in his disability. He enjoyed collecting cars, an- tiques and reading antique books. He was a loving and giving man and a dear husband and father who will be sorely missed. In addition to his mother and grandmother, he is survived by his wife, Darlene; two sons, Ty- wuan Lamont Johnson and Michael Dcon Johnson; a daugh- ter Latasha Renee Johnson; three brothers, Ronald "Harry" John- son, Gwain Johnson and Eric Johnson; two sisters, Naomi John- son and Cecilia Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
