"t" New colors, larger packs in store to meet demand for Icicle Pansies If you haven't planted them o someone in your neighborhood likely has. In response to growing demand by Icicle Pansy advocates in the US and Canada, Fernlea Flowers' president Jeff Howe an- nounced the company will intro- duce new colors, and a 24-plant value fiat of the wildly popular Icicle Pansy for this fall. Howe said, "One of the nicest things we experience is that our customers become our advocates. It amazes me how many garden- ers go back to their local suppliers multiple times for more plants, sometimes for their own gardens but just as often to give to friends to try. "We like to respond to that kind of loyalty and increased demand." From the beginning, Icicle Pan- sies have proven to be very reli-. able, driving gardeners to not only expand their own plantings but to recommend the #ants to oth- ers with harsh winters and cruel springs to worry about. The Icicle Pansy web site is awash in glowing tributes from gardeners who have been dazzled by blooming displays from fall through the icy cold of Northern Ontario winters and into the hot, dry summers of Iowa.
