Call 227-6115 Angle Moon photo Drug Education for Youth camp raises awareness Isaiah Hurtt of Wilmington swings through the air on a rope during the Drug Education for Youth (DEFY) camp held at the Bethany Beach National Guard training camp on Wednesday, Aug. 5. A total of 35 children participated in the camp, thanks to a "weed and seed  grant from the U.S. attorney's office. The children were recommended to attend the camp by their community center leaders in Wilmington. During the program, they developed leadership skills, built self-esteem, learned conflict resolution methods, dealt with negative peer pressure, participated in physical fitness exer- cises, learned respect for diversity and had a program on drug awareness.
