Rehoboth Lions bestow awards The Rehoboth Beach Lions Club recently made a number of presentations. Clockwise from top left: Rehoboth Beach Lions Guyla Brinckmeyer and Kelly Foster are shown with PDG John Schwed (r). Both Lions were honored with the Melvin Jones Fellow for their dedicated humanitarian services. Lion Foster was presented his honor at the installation dinner in June, and Brinckmeyer received her honor at the Multiple District 22 Convention in May. Brinckmeyer is he first woman to receive this honor in the Rehoboth Lions Club. 1996-97 King Lion Jim Mayben (left) is shown presenting to Lion Jim Mays the Lion of the Year Award. Mays is the secre- tary of the Rehoboth Beach Lions Club, president of Lions DeloVOSH, serves in the District 22-D Governor's Cabinet and delivers Meals on Wheels, to name some of his contributions. Lion Nelson Guidry of the Rehoboth Beach Lions Club is shown receiving the Knights of the Blind Award from PDG John Schwed. Guidry received the award for his many contri- butions to the local club, other local organizations and for his support of the sight and hearing impaired. The 1996-97 King Lion Jim Mayben is presenting a plaque to Camille Caggiano, who is accepting for her father, Lion Nick Caggiano, owner of Nicola's Pizza. Caggiano donates all the pizza for the Christmas Party sponsored by the Rehoboth Beach Lions Club for the Stockley Center patients.
