MR. AND MRS. PAUL D. GALLUP ... the bride is the former Miss Elizabeth S. Eisenstaedt. Elizabeth S. Eisenstaedt weds Paul D. Gallup Elizabeth Stewart Eisenstaedt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eisenstaedt of Wayne, Pa. and Paul Durant Gallup, son of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Gatlup of Lewes and Wayne, Pa., were married June 14 at Wayne United Methodist Church in Wayne, Pa. Rev. Edwin Green officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore a short sleeve gown of raw silk and Venetian lace with a sweetheart neckline, Basque waist and a chapel length train. She wore a fingertip veil with matching silk roses, and she car- ried a loose cascade of white and ivory roses accented with dendro- bium orchids, freesia, with trailing ivy. Music was provided by Robert Gallagher. Waynesborough County Club in Paoli, Pa., was the setting for the evening cocktail and dinner reception immediately following the ceremony. Lori Consalvi of West Chester, Pa., was the maid of honor. The bride's attendants were Kerry and Laura Eisenstaedt (sisters of the bride) of Wayne, Pa.; Tara Burke of Middletown, Ohio; Maggie Klerlein of Asheville, N.C.; Jen- nifer Beam, of Atlanta, Ga., and Beth Lizun of Denville, N.J. The bridegroom was attended by Michael Burkett, Jose Berce- doni and Robert Adams, Jr. all of Greenville, N.C.; Troy Larson, of Chadds Ford, Pa.; Jim Ford of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Scott Anderson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Peter Gallup of Wayne was his broth- er's best man. The bride earned a bachelor's degree from Clemson University in May, 1997 and is employed as a math teacher by Nash-Rocky Mount School District in North Carolina. The groom earned a bachelor's degree from East Car- olina University in May, 1997 and is employed by Kencraft Manu- facturing, Inc., as a technical engi- neer. After a wedding trip to Bermu- da, the couple is making their home in Greenville, N.C. VFW members to attend national convention The Veterans of Foreign Wars 98th National Convention will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, Aug. 16-21. The Department of Delaware state president, Mary Anna Harris and state comman- der, Robert McGowan, will be at- tending with many post comman- ders, auxiliary presidents and members. The Delaware delega- tion will be housed in the Holiday Inn. Convention meetings and workshops will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center. A workshop will be held Saturday afternoon, and a memorial service is scheduled for Sunday in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. The service will feature the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. A patriotic rally will be held Tuesday evening in the Con- vention Center. There will also be many more even.ts and activities during the week. Meetings for the week will start Sunday after the memorial service. Monday morn- ing, the joint opening service will start the meeting. The auxiliary hopes to return with awards won for their hard work.
