Heritage Camp kids enjoy RAL visit The Delaware Heritage Commission Hands-on Heritage Camp, in its fourth years, strives to tune young people in to the history and heritage of Delaware through hands-on expe- riences. On July 9, 27 day campers visited the Rehoboth Art League to experience some of the rich history that abounds there. Upon arrival, campers received information about the Peter Marsh family, the Homestead Mansion, and even some tales of buried treasures and ghosts. The kids then participat- ed in a scavenger hunt in the boxwood maze garden, took part in a corn husking contest and viewed a film on the Art League. Punx Wingate and Robert Wright coordinated all events on behalf of the Art League. After lunch the campers were able to observe RAL teacher Sue Weber as she demon- strated on the potter's wheel and then were able to create their own clay sculptures. 207 Rehoboth Avenue 227-1986 Rehoboth Beach Great Margaritas!
