Early American Wrought Iron Conference set The Delaware Agricultural Mu- seum and Village and the Mid-At- lantic Smiths Association will hold the 16th Annual Early Amer- ican Wrought Iron Conference Sept. 7-8. This event brings together blacksmiths, ferriers and metal workers from around the country to learn more about their craft. This year the conference will fea- ture demonstrators Jim Wallace with the National Ornamental Metals Museum, and Tom Ryan, a European trained blacksmith who is setting up a new shop in the Philadelphia area. The conference begins at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 7 and continues until 4 p.m. Sept. 8. The cost is $45 for the entire weekend by Sept. 1. After that, the cost is $55.
