The following movies will play at the Rehoboth Mall Cinema and the Movies at Midway, Friday, August 27 through Thursday, Sept. 2: • Trick: Christian Campbell is a lovesick musical writer who spends an entire night with gal pal/go-go dancer Toil Spelling in search of his Mr. Right. While fate deals an unromantic hand, all is right by the end of the night. Rated R. • The Muse: A comic writer with writer&apos;s block, poor Albert Brooks seeks the help of Sharon Stone, a gifted woman who comes to the rescue of artists who require inspiration. Andie MacDowell and Jeff Bridges also star. Rated PG-13. • The Astronaut's Wife: As- tronaut Johnny Depp returns from a freak accident in space as a (iif- ferent man. His pregnant wife (Charlize Theron) fears that their unborn child is otherworldly. Rat- ed R. • Dudley Do-Right: Brendan Fraser is the famous mountie. Joined by a cast that includes Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex in the City) as Nell and Alfred Molina as the evil Snidley Whiplash. Rated PG. • The 13th Warrior: Arab courtier Antonio Banderas is sent north as an emissary, but finds himself battling an army of soli- diers that slaughters the Vikings and eats their flesh. Rated R. • Mickey BlueEyes: Hugh Grant is an elegant Englishman who wants to marry his girlfriend (Jeanne Tripplehorn). Trouble is, her Mobster family wants to cor- rupt him into a life of crime with the "family." Rated PG- 13. • Teaching Mrs. Tingle: After being falsely accused of cheating on their exam, a group of students show up at Mrs. Tingle's house to apologize. Things take a scary turn when mean 'ole Mrs. Tingle won't back down. Stars Katie Holmes (Dawson's Creek). Rated PG-13. • Bowfinger: Steve Martin is a down-on-his-luck movie producer that will do just about anything to get his film on screen. Enlisting no-experience herd Eddie Mur- phy, Martin embarks upon a reel adventure that also features the work of Heather Graham, Terence Stamp and Robert Downey, Jr. Rated PG- 13. • Tea With Mussolini: A wry little comedy that draws from the published memoirs of acclaimed film maker Frances Zeffirelli. Set in Florence, Italy on the cusp of World War II, Chef, Judi Dench, Lili Tomlin and Maggie_ Smith portray a group of strong-willed women who help a young man find his identity in the world of art. Rated PG. • Thomas Crown Affair: In a remake of the Steve McQueen/Faye Dunaway film of the same name, Pierce Brosnan is a wealthy, impeccably dressed thief of impressionist artwork who has his heart stolen by the loyely Renee Russo. Rated R. • Blair Witch Project: If the buzz on this low-budget shocker hasn't yet peaked your curiosity, you must be hiding under a rock. While searching for the legendary Blair Witch, a documentary-film crew of students disappears. Their footage is later found under a 100-year-old building. Rated R. • The Sixth Sense: Haley Joel Osment (young Forrest Gump) is Cole, a young boy who can sense dead spirits around him. Intense, violent images fill his head as Bruce Willis is charged with the task of helping him cope with his "girl." Rated PG- 13. • " Mystery Men: An all-star cast of heroes is led by Mr. Furi- ous, a stellar Ben Stiller. Adding to the merriment are Greg Kinn- ear as Captain Amazing, Hank Azaria as Blue Raja and William H. Macy as Shoveler. Geoffrey Rush is arch-rival Casanova Frankenstein, while Paul "Pee Wee Herman" Reubens makes his first on-screen appearance in ages. Rated PG- 13. • Deep Blue Sea: Alien meets Jaws. Samuel L. Jackson is a mil- lionaire businessman who backs a special genetic experiment to cure cancer. An ambitious Dr. Susan McAlester biologically engineers sharks in order to harvest precious enzymes for the cure. The new species of smarter, bigger sharks break free from their underwater habitat and make a run for the open sea. Also features Michael Rapaport (Beautiful Girls) and rapper L.L. Cool J. Rated R. • The Runaway Bride: Re- porter Richard Gere is assigned to write astory about a woman who has left a series of suitors stranded at the altar. What ensues is a ro- mantic comedy reuniting Gere with Julia Roberts in what is tout- ed as a "Pretty Woman 2." Direct- ed by Garry Marshall and shot mostly in Berlin, Md., Runaway Bride also features Joan Cusack, Hector Elizondo and Rita Wilson. • Inspector Gadget: Time to pick up the shoe phone. Matthew Broderick, Rupert Everett (My Best Friend's Wedding) and Joely Fisher are featured in this clever comedy remake of the popular kids teen. Rated PG- 13. • Big Daddy: Law school graduate Adam Sandler has a Pe- ter Pan complex. Finding himself the impromptu father of a five- year-old boy, he is forced to grow up and implement a slapstick child-rearing philosophy as a proud papa. Briefly 'Magical monarchs' at Prime Hook Aug. 29 Monarch butterflies will soon be filling the skies, beginning their annual journey of thousands of miles to reach their wintering grounds in Mexico. The Friends of Prime Hook National Wildlife refuge will present a program about these beautiful migrants at the refuge headquarters at 1 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 29. A slide presen- tation will be followed by a walk along the refuge trails in search of butterflies. Binoculars are recom- mended. Theheadquarters is lo- cated offRoute 16, near Broadkill Beach.
