Tom Carper and Rep. Joe Booth, R-Georgetown. Marvel has been connected to Beebe Hospital for more than 50 years, first as an orderly during his high school years to his present posi- tion as an orthopedic surgeon. Marvel has served two terms as president of the Medical Society of Delaware, Chief of Staff of the Beebe Medical Center and Chief of Surgery Service. He presently serves as the Medical Center's Trauma director.
