Cape Gazette Lewes artist creates to honor football greats Lewes artist Kristen Visbal is busy with a new commission for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. This new collection of works will consist of nine larger-than- life figures - eight hall of fame football coaches and Tom Van Voorhis, a pioneer of collegiate intramural athletics in America who taught, coached and was an athletic administrator at the uni- versity. Miami University, called the Cradle of Coaches, is home to a strange phenomenon: an un- usual number of the top football coaches in American football re- ceived training and coaching de- grees there.
