Continued on page 70 Atlantic Seafood Company and Bar Chef Pefley adds special touch to menu The Atlantic Seafood Company Restaurant and Bar on the boardwalk at Maryland Avenue is now in its second year. The oceanfront location, the beach ambiance of the restaurant and bar and the service of the waitstaff are matched by the menu and the food - creations of Chef Ge- offrey Pefley, originally of College Park, Md. Pefley brings 25 years of experience to the Atlantic Seafood Compa- ny Restaurant and Bar with stops at restaurants from Washington, D.C.'s Grand Hyatt Hotel to the upscale Sofio's in Telluride, Colo. His creations include a wide variety of seafood, all fresh and local, as well as several pasta dishes, a few steaks and poultry entrees to round out the menu. Each evening includes a chef's special. Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center Banquet Chef Arik Roork assists Pefley. Roork is formerly with Tuttu Bene and comes with a tremendous background in the food and beverage industry. This team, along with the waitstaff, is under the direction of restaurant Man- ager James White. The restaurant is a welcome spot for families, with a children-friendly menu featuring six items from which to choose, all priced at $5.
