Seaside Jewish Community sets Sukkah The Seaside Jewish Community will build and decorate the Sukkah at Charlie Pollard&apos;s petting zoo farm at 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, with festivities including a barbecue, bonfire and hayride. Anglican Parish of St. James dedication set The Anglican Parish of Saint James will dedicate its permanent home with a l0 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 26, service at the new church, when the Very Rev. John W. Gains, rector, welcomes the Right Rev. Peter Compton-Caputo to help celebrate the occasion. Founded by Father Gains in his living room in 1993, the congregation soon moved to the Atlantic Budget Inn, Millsboro, and has been very active in hospital and nursing home visitations and services to those in need. The new church is located on Truck Route 9 (Park Avenue, Road 321) east of George- town, a quarter mile south of Route 9 by the railroad tracks. The Angli- can Parish of Saint James is a congregation of traditional catholic Chris- tians who use the Book of Common Prayer, 1928, the Thirty-nine Arti- cles of Religion. Pro.life activities set in Cape Region A Charismatic Conference will be held Friday through Sunday, Oct. 1-3, at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, featuring Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life on Oct. 1. Long Neck Church sets supper Sept. 26 Long Neck United Methodist Church will hold its first covered dish supper of the fall season on Sunday, Sept. 26, hosted by the Steward- ship Committee. Everyone will gather in the fellowship hall on Long Neck Road and Route 24 at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 5 p.m. A program of skits is planned for the entertainment after the supper. Eagle's Nest sets drama Sept. 26 Eagle s Nest Fellowship Church, located off route 1 and 16, Milton, will host a dramatic "Living Portrait" of hymn writer Fanny Crosby per- formed at 7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 26, by Peggy Miller of Tampa, Fla. Miller has traveled the country performing for churches, conferences, schools and organizations centered around several great women of faith, including Susanna Wesley, the mother of Charles and John Wes- ley, and Katherine Luther, wife of Martin Luther. Her costumes, man- nerisms and accent are all authentic to the character, in this case Crosby, who was known as "The Queen of Gospel Hymns" in the late 1800s, with over 9,000 poems and hymns in her lifetime, despite the fact she was blind. The Light FM to honor youth pastors During October, the Light FM 101.3 WXPZ is recognizing all youth pastors and leaders during Youth Pastor Appreciation Month by offer- ing a promotion in which youth groups can nominate their leader in or- der to win. The leader's name may be sent through the mail, emaii or fax, with the deadline for entries Oct. 3 and drawing on Oct. 4. The winner will receive tickets for the group at Reclaim the Culture Tour Concert, an interactive radio/internet show that will broadcast live from Eagle's Nest Fellowship Church near Milton with CCM recording artist Jeni Varnadeau and speaker Robert Shaw.
