Rehoboth Mayor Sam Cooper, a church member, welcomed those gathered, while his wife Di- ane served as co-chairperson and his mother received recog- nition for her years as a member. The church was entertained by a play, "Spirit by the Sea," (or "Why did the church cross the road?"), written by Murray Archibald, with help from the "Ditty Committee," composed of Steve Elkins, John Hulse, Geor- giana Ibach, Ken Mahan, Judy Moore and Glen Pruitt. Choir di- rector Moore served as musical director, with Archibald as direc- tor. Songs ranged from "By the Sea, By the Sea," to 'rhe Boogie, Woogie Preacher Man" and "We Are Family."
