The British West Indies meet the Caribbean
when you visit Sir Guy's Restaurant and Pub in
Rehoboth Beach. Situated on Rehoboth Avenue, the
establishment has gained quite an impressive fol-
lowing since its opening six years ago.
Owned by cousins John O'Hazza and Jamie
Waple and their spouses, Terry O'Hazza and Angela
Waple, Sir Guy's is frequented by locals and visitors
alike year-round:
Sir Guy's specialty items include appetizers such
as Buffalo wings, jerk chicken, chicken quesedillas
and conch fritters.
Lunch favorites include Sir Guy's famous fish
and chips and the Jammin' Burger seasoned with
authentic island spices and served on an onion dill
roll.
The salmon burger is a healthy choice for a deli-
cious, low fat meal, or choose from an array of sal-
ads. There's a chicken salad platter as well as large
house, spinach and Caesar salads which can be
topped off with grilled chicken breast or grilled
tuna, and the chef's salad.
Low fat soups are also offered and dishes can be
served with cole slaw or a side salad rather than
fries.
The Jerk filet mignon, coconut fried shrimp in a
coconut batter and the Cayman-style fish of the day
served with peppers, onions and tomatoes remain
high on the list of menu options. Sir Guy's famous
Sheperd's Pie is the perfect thing to warm up a
chilly night.
Every Friday and Saturday night, Sir Guy's fea-
tures a stellar lineup of live entertainment. Sir
Guy's is a noted venue for featuring primarily origi-
nal, new artists. In addition, every month Sir Guy's
is host to a "Full Moon Saloon Party" with drink
specials and live entertainment.
Monday's lunch special includes a half of a club
sandwich and your choice of soup for only $5.50,
while Monday nights are your chance to guess the
weight of the "Monster Lobster" during the football
game and enjoy a complimentary buffet.
Tuesdays are the ever-popular Wing Night with
$2.50 per dozen wings. Thursday is-Burger Day
with $4 burgers (including Jammin' Burgers, as well
as salmon, veggie, turkey and spicy black bean
burgers) and Thursday night is "Locals Mug Night"
from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. with special drink prices
with a Sir Guy's mug. "Lazy Sundays" feature
$1.50 mimosas and $2 Bloody Marys as well as $5
pot pies and half pounds of steamed shrimp.
Sir Guy's features its appetizer and lunch menu
late night every night.
This weekend's live entertainment includes The
Nazarites on Friday, Sept. 26, and Hexbelt on Satur-
day, Sept. 27.
