The following movies are now playing in the resort area: Maximum Risk: Thriller featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme doing what he does best. Rated R.  Extreme Measures: A med- ical thriller/drama starring Hugh Grant and Gene Hackman. Rated R. Spitfire Grill: Set in small town of Gilead, Maine, sentimen- tal drama features milky-skinned waif (Alison Elliott) emerging from prison to work for ailing Spitfire Grill proprietor (Ellen Burstyn). Rated PG-13. First Wives Club: Comedy about three women who lose their successful husbands to younger, more attractive women - and de- cide to take revenge upon their ex- mates when a mutual friend, dis- traught over a divorce, commits suicide. Rated PG. Last Man Standing: Ac- tion/adventure set in Prohibition- era American, about a violent stranger who hires out his services to both sides of a long-standing ri- valry, then ends up taking on everybody. Rated R. - Trainspotting: Comedy/dra- ma about a group of young heroin addicts. Rated R. Emma: Comedy/drama about a young woman who is so busy acting as matchmaker for others that she almost overlooks the love of her own life. Based on the nov- el by Jane Austen. Starring Gwyneth Paltrow. Rated PG. Bulletproof: Action/comedy about a cop who has to transport a former mobster from Arizona to Los Angeles. Starring Damon Wayans and Adam Sandier. Rat- edR. The Island of Dr. Moreau: Science fiction chiller set in 2010 about a United Nations lawyer who becomes stranded on a re- mote island run by a Nobel-win- ning geneticist who has devised a means by which humans can be fused with lower forms of life to create a "perfect life form". Based on the novel by H.G. Welles. Starring Marlon Brando and Val Kilmer. Rated PG-13. Tin Cup: Romantic comedy set against the world of golf about a driving range pro who enters the U.S. Open to prove his worth to the woman he loves - the girl- friend of a professional rival. Starring Kevin Costner and Rene Russo. Rated R. Bogus: A tender comedy fea- turing Whoopi Goldberg as a woman unexpectedly thrust into the role of a mother. Rated PG. Fly Away Home: Based on the real-life adventures of Bill Lishman, who with his daughter taught a flock of geese to migrate, then used an ultralight airplane to fly with them. Starring Jeff Daniels, Dana Delany and Anna Paquin. Rated PG. Jack: Comedy/drama about a boy who physically ages four times faster than normal, and even though his body appears to be 40- years-old, he still has the emotion- al and intellectual faculties of a 10-year-old. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Starring Robin Williams in the title role. Rated PG-13. A Time to Kill: Thriller about an emotional murder trial in a small Southern town after a black father kills the two white men who raped his 10-year-old daugh- ter.
