CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, October 2 - October 8, 1998 - 21 Late obituaries Daniel B. Lynch, maintenance worker Daniel B. Lynch, 53, of Lewes, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at home of natural causes. Mr. Lynch was a maintenance worker and worked at Star of the Sea Condominium in Rehoboth Beach until his retirement. He was a member of American Le- gion Post 17, where he served as sergeant at arms. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he formerly worked at the Beebe Medical Center mainte- nance department. He is survived by his mother and father, Ernest R. Lynch and Leora B. Lynch, both of Lewes; a son, Dean B. Lynch of Lewes; two brothers, John W. Lynch of Lewes and Robert E. Lynch of Franklinville, N.J.; and a sister, Marianne Millman of Milton. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998, at Parsell Funeral Home and Crematorium, 1449 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. Becklin, , real estate agent .. Wanda D. Brooks Becklin, 68, of Harbeson and formerly of Beltsville, Md., died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, at home of cancer that she had been fighting for the past 25 years. She had worked as a real estate sales agent, census taker for the U.S. Census Bureau, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Becklin was past president of the Eastei'n Sus- sex Democrat Club and served as the coordinator of FISH (Friendly Intermediate Sympathetic Help) of Beltsville. She was a member of American Legion Post 28 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Community Lutheran Church in Omar. She is survived by her hus- band of 47 years, Gilbert P. Beck- lin; two daughters, Anita Tyndall of Seaford and Vinice Larkins of Beltsville; her mother, Wanda McGuan of Georgetown; a broth- er, Robert Brooks of Denton, Texas; and three grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 5, at Community Lutheran Church, Omar. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Chapel of Me!son Funeral Services, Long Neck Road. Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
