Mike Castle recently announced $833 million in federal funding to repair the Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach coastlines, and $6.17 mil- lion in federal funding to repair the Fenwick Island coastline fol- lowing damage from the nor'easter and Hurricane Ida in November 2009. Delaware's congressional dele- gation wrote to the Army Corps of Engineers Aug. 16, to urge them to use the funding provid- ed in the Emergency Supplemen- tal Appropriations Act of 2010, to repair the Bethany Beach and South Bethany Beach coastlines and to repair the damage to Re- hoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and Fenwick Island's coastlines.
