S teinle weds Stephen J. Kristofak Molly Brooke Steinle and Stephen John Kristofak, both of West Hartford, Conn., were unit- ed in marriage on Aug. 15, at Christ Episcopal Church in West- erly, R.I. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Robert W. Anthony and the Very Rev. Terence J. Kristofak, C.P., the groom&apos;s un- cle. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Richard Steinle Sr. of Pawcatuck, R.I., and the grand- daughter of Mrs. Hubbard S. Ruoff of Wilmington, and the late Henry C. Steinle, also of Wilm- ington, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Owens Jr. of Rehoboth Beach. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen G. Kristofak Jr. of Farmington, Conn., and is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Kelly of West Hartford, Conn., and the late John Kelly, also of West Hartford. He is also the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen G. Kristofak St. of Farm- ington, Conn. The matron of honor was Nora L. Noll of Glastonbury, Conn., and John M. Kristofak, of Farm- ington, brother of the groom, served as best man. Bridesmaids were the bride's cousins, Tanya S. Desmond of Apex, N.C., Sarah C. Potter of Toccoa, Ga., and Gretchen Smith of Winston-Salem, N.C. Pamela B. Steinle, of Houston, Texas, sis- ter-in-law of the bride, was also a bridesmaid, as were the groom's sisters, Sharon K. McHale of West Hartford, Conn., and Sheila L. Kristofak of Newington, Conn. The bride's cousin, William L. Potter of Toccoa, Ga., served as ring bearer. Guest.s were ushered by the groom's cousin, Robert M. Kristofak of Richmond, Va., the bride's brother, Frederick R. Steinle Jr. of Houston, Texas, and the groom's brother-in-law, Patrick J. McHale of West Hart- ford, Conn. Also serving as ushers were Donald A. Lambert of Bloomfield, Conn., Robert P. Pickering of West Hartford, Conn. and David J. Smith of Colchester, Conn. A reception at the Mystic Art Association in Mystic, Conn., fol- lowed the ceremony, after which the couple left for an undisclosed honeymoon location. Mrs. Kristofak is a 1989 gradu- ate of Stonington High School, Pawcatuck, Conn., and a 1993 graduate of Springfield College, Springfield, Mass., with a bache- lor of arts degree in English. She received a master of arts in special education from St. Joseph's Col- lege in West Hartford, Conn., in 1996 and is emplo,ed by the West Hartford School System. Mr. Kristofak is a 1984 gradu- ate of Northwest Catholic High School, West Hartford, and re- ceived a bachelor of arts degree in history from Providence College, Providence, R.I. in 1989. ProjectMeal Foun- dation, a nonprofit organization of meal programs based in Alexan- dria, Va., reviewed the 250-word essays and selected 140 volunteers that best reflected the spirit of the Meals on Wheels mission. Together, Reynolds and Project- Meal Foundation chose one of the 140 volunteers to be named the 1998 National Volunteer of the Year. Reynolds donated $11,000 to the Gwinnett County Senior Services Meals on Wheels pro- gram in Lawrenceville, Ga., to recognize national winner Randy Swetnam.
