More than 60 women attended the art show titled Memories of Summer Pails. Watercolor artist Linda Dickey displayed and sold original paintings as well as prints of sand pails, and Marjorie Miller exhibited her private col- lection of antique sand pails. Proceeds from the sale of art- work were donated to the Fund for Women by the artist. During the affair, Chairwoman and Founder Lynn Kokjohn ex- plained how the Fund for Women lends a hand "to Delaware women and girls through grants. Since 1993, more than $1 million in grants have been awarded to nearly 230 non- profit programs statewide for such services as prenatal care, housing, abuse counseling, legal assistance, medical care and job training. New founders who pledged $1,000 to the organization in- elude Prue Albright, Christine Beshe, Judy Cousins, Ellen Ann Dickey, Megan Lee Dickey, JCssi- Ca Gordon, Becky Hamill, Dane Hanson, Mary Howard, Ptty Kase, Ruth Mankin, Louise Ifarr, Michelle and Cindy Szabo. All new mem- bers received a signed print from the artist.
