Third Street, Lewes, beginning October 10, 1997 thru November 7, 1997 during regular business hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Those property owners desiring to appeal their Third Quarter Supplemental Assessment(s) must do so by obtaining and complet- ing a Property Value Appeal Form from the City Manager's Office during regular business hours, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. The appeal form must be filed at the City Manager's Office no earlier than Tuesday, October 28, 1997 or later than the close of business, Friday, November 7, 1997 in order for the appeal to be heard. The date and time of the meeting of the Board of Appeals to hear those appeals filed in writing will be determined by the City Council at their next regular meeting to be held November 10, 1997. Williams, Assessor THE CITY OF LEWES NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for the installation of a water distribution system to serve an area in West Rehoboth will be received from qualified bidders by the City of Rehoboth Beach at 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971, until 1:30 PM local time on November 13, 1997, at which time they will be opened and read publicly. The work consists of the construction of a water main on Hebron Road and Burton Avenue along with restoration of all surfaces disturbed by the construction and other assorted work. The city reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must submit a bid security of not less than five (5%) percent with his bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of .opening thereof. Bids are especially invited from minority business enterprises and women's business enterprises (MBE/WBE). This is a federally assisted project through a Community Development Block Grant. Attention of the bidder is particularly called to the requirements of this program. The work will be subject to the Davis-Bacon Act and the Equal Opportunity requirements of the program.
