Delaware Public Archives to feature display Oct. 24-25 The Delaware Public Archives will honor Archives Week by holding a limited time display Oct. 24-25 of military documents entitled "Delaware Answers the Call!" This special exhibit will feature military documents dating from the Revolutionary War era through the World War II period. Included within this exhibit will be muster rolls of Delaware's Revolutionary War units, personal letters from soldiers, and full color propaganda posters from World Wars I and II. The program is free to the public and no reser- vations are required. The Delaware Public Archives is located at 121 Duke of York Street in Dover. The exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24 and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25. The balloons will be displayed at The Wellness Community's Red Balloon Bash commemorat- ing the agency's 10th anniversary. Tribute balloons are available for $20. A tribute card with the name of the person who is being hon- ored or remembered will be attached to the balloon and promi- nently displayed at the event. All proceeds from the fundrais- er will be used to provide cancer support programs in Sussex County. Since opening its first facility in 1996, The Wellness Community- Delaware has provided services to 34,000 people in Delaware. All programs and services are offered free of charge.
