Bayhealth honors physicians with 25 years of service Bayhealth Medical Center recently honored retiring physi- cians and physicians with more than 25 years of service at Kent General Hospital and Milford Memorial Hospital, with a cele- bration at the Duncan Center in Dover. Physicians honored for 25 years or more of service were as fol- lows: Dr. Lamberto M. Arellano is a medical oncologist/hematologist appointed to the Bayhealth med- ical staff in 1981. Arellano received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas. He completed internal medicine internships and residencies at Jersey Shore Medical Center and a hematology and oncology fel- lowship at St. Michaels Medical Center. Dr. Ciriaco G. Bongalos Jr. is an internal medicine physician appointed to the Bayhealth med- ical staff in 1981. Bongalos received his medical degree from the CEBU Institute of Medicine. He completed a surgery residency at Ormoc General Hospital in the Philippines, an internship at Jewish Memorial Hospital in New York, a general surgery residency at Arthur Logan Memorial Hospital in New York, a radiology residency at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey and an internal medicine residency at Muhlenberg Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Francis C. Drury is an orthopaedic surgeon appointed to the Bayhealth medical staff in 1981. Drury received his medical degree from the University of Maryland College of Medicine. He completed a surgery residency and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Maryland. Drury has also begun his retire- ment. Dr. Sandra C. Foote is a med- ical oncologist appointed to the Bayhealth medical staff in 1981. Foote received her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
