1)r.00 mayJ. Robinson weds William D. Crotty Dr. Amy J. Robinson and Mr. William D. Crotty were united in marriage Saturday, May 19, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Lewes. The ceremony was per- formed by the Rev. David Palmer, pastor of Bethel United Methodist Church, and Father John Mink, chaplain of the Delaware State Police. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David E. Robinson of Wyoming, and the granddaughter of Mr. J. Frank Robinson of Re- hoboth Beach and the later Mr. and Mrs. John W. Smith of Georgetown. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Raymond Crotty of Wilmington. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero strapless princess cut gown of delustered matte satin. Silver em- broidery adorned with swarovski crystals accented the bodice, front panel and hemline of the chapeP length train. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lavender ai- stroemeria. The maid of honor was Miss Al- ison Robinson of Newark, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Carolyn Hake of Newark; Dr. JVlelissa Koenig of Washing- ton, D.C. and Dr. Janet Noel of Alexandria, Va., all friends of the bride. They wore platinum two- piece satin gowns with crystal ac- cents at the waistline and neckline from the Belsoie collection by Jasmine. The best man was Christopher Crotty of Wilmington, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Kevin Crotty, brother of the groom, William Healy of Wilm- ington, Edward Stephan of Wilm- ington and Edward Sebastianelli of Odessa, all friends of the groom. A reception following the cere- mony was held at Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club. The bride is a graduate of Cae- sar Rodney High School in 1992, the University of Delaware in 1996, and Jefferson Medical Col- lege in 2000. She is currently a family practice resident at Chris- tiana Care. The groom is a graduate of Salesianum High School in 1992 and the University of Delaware in 1996. He. is employed by the Delaware State Police. After honeymooning in Maui and Kauai, the couple resides in Wilmington. Holiday baskets, pottery, a door prize, and a 50/50 raffle will be featured. Tickets are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door.
