Our Place Restaurant se0000'lg traditional,, ethnic cuisines in downtown Rehoboth Beach Our Place Restaurant, located at 37 Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth Beach, offers a warm and cozy atmosphere, quality service, and a diverse menu at affordable prices. Owners Maryanne Miller and Deb Ivanor say they strive to create a comfortable environment for anyone who wants to have an enjoyable night out. Three small dining rooms and front porch dining areas seat 48 people, with the garden patio dining area seats an additional 48 diners. Miller and lvanor have also added a covering over the outside dining area and heaters for those cooler fall evenings. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the year and features an exciting brunch menu on Sundays and holidays. Our Place features regional ethnic cuisine and a menu which changes 4-5 times a year. "Our customers are so regular that we have to change our menu periodically to keep everyone interested in what is new to our menu," said Miller. The creative genius behind the diverse dinner menus at Our Place are Danny Richards and Seng Thantanacharoen. Patrons of the restaurant enjoy their talents in an array of authentic regional American cuisine, along with traditional ethnic cuisine featuring Thai, Indian, Latin, Italian and Algerian. Fresh seafood, steaks, pasta, chicken and hickory smoked pork can always be found on the diverse menu. New fall items include maple crispy duck, cranberry rotisserie chicken and pan-seared Austrian chicken, which keeps company with the restaurant's most popular entr6es for all three sea- sons - grilled shrimp and scallop fettucini, hickory smoked ribs, hand-cut filet mignon and Asian plum- glazed pork medallions. In addition to Our Place's affordable items, the restaurant also features $10 pasta dishes on' Sundays and $10 special entr6es on Monday nights through- out the fall. The restaurant will offer a traditional homestyle Thanksgiving menu 2-8 p.m. on Thanksgiving day and will feature A Tour of American Cuisine for New Year's Eve with seatings at 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Reservations are now being accepted for both featured dinners. "The success of breakfast and brunch lies with the talents of Wesley Overturf, who has brought many ethnic dishes to our daytime menu and each one seems to be just as fantastic as the next," said Ivanor. Patrons can enjoy one of these ethnic entr6es or simply an omelet, pancakes or a Belgian waffle. . Our Place Restaurant & Garden Patio: 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
