Annual Beebe Ball set
for Nov. 2 in Rehoboth
Tickets are selling fast for the
Beebe Medical Foundation's 26th
Annual Beebe Ball, to take place
from 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2,
at the Rehoboth Beach Conven-
tion Center. The theme of this
year's event is The Greatest Ball
on Earth Under the Big Top!
The event will raise funds for
the Beebe Medical Foundation's
Nursing Education Campaign
to complete the expansion of
the Margaret H. Rollins School
of Nursing at Beebe Medical
Center.
Event Chair Drexel Davison in-
vites everyone to come and enjoy
the East Coast's celebrated Big
City Band as it keeps guests on
the dance floor all evening. Magi-
cian Rich Bloch will entertain the
attendees and serve as Ring Mas-
ter for the evening. This year's

donated by local businesses, va-

Harry Keswani, owner of At-
lantic Jewelry on the Rehoboth
Beach Boardwalk, will create a
surprise piece for The Greatest
Ball on Earth. It will be a pendant
encrusted with diamonds and
various colored sapphires exclu-
sively designed, limited edition
and engraved with the Harry K
logo. This is the second year in a
row that Keswani has designed a
Unique piece of jewelry to raise
funds at the Beebe Ball.
In preparation for the evening,
local individuals and businesses
are competing to see who can
create the most spectacular table
d6cor and themed centerpiece.
This competition, which creates
a special festive atmosphere, has
been an annual tradition.
The Greatest Ball oh Earth will
also feature a raffle for a one-
week trip to London. The lucky
winner will spend six nights at
the four-and-a-half star Park
Plaza Westminster Bridge. The
holiday package includes: airfare;
round-trip airport/hotel transfer;
a half-day guided tour of London;
and a full-day tour of Windsor
Castle/Stonehenge/City of Bath.
Tickets are $50 each and only 250

INTO TREES EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY

Walls, Betsy Rybczynski, Jerry
Strum and Libby Zando are
currently exhibiting works.at
The Kitchen at Paynter's Mill
near Milton. The seasonal show,
Into Trees, is curated by Libby
Zando of Zando Designs Inc.,
who is known for her unique
landscape and home designs.
These accomplished local
artists work in oil, watercolor,
fabric and printmaking. An
artists' reception will be held
from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov.
2. Light refreshments will be
served. Visitors can celebrate
with good food, friends and local
chef and owners, Ray and Lisa
Richardson.
