Harbor Healthcare observes "Rights Week" The residents and staff of Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilita- tion Center in Lewes recently celebrated nationally designat- ed "Residents' Rights Week," with a variety of activities fo- cusing on their rights as an integral part of their stay at the facility. Mary DeHaven (left), president of Harbor's Resident Council, attended a Sussex County Council meeting, accept- ing a proclamation on behalf of the center's resident popula- tion, proclaiming the week as "Residents' Rights Week" on Sussex County. Activities included Residents' Rights Bingo, a Residents' Rights Tea, as well as a review of the residents' rights, followed by an in-depth discussion emphasizing choice, dignity, privacy, quality of life and quality care.
