CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, November 6 - November 12, 1998 - 65 CHEER 'Salute to Veterans' set CHEER will hold its second an- nual "Salute to Veterans" dinner- dance from 6 to 10 p.m., Wednes- day, Nov. 11, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. The event will include presentations of unit flags, a flag ceremony, a full buffet dinner and entertainment. "Side by Side" will perform the kind of music popular with veter- ans of all ages, and a large dance floor will be available. All veter- ans are invited to join in, and for them, dinner will be free: they need only provide proof of ser- vice. Veterans spouses, family and acquaintances will be asked to make a $7 donation. All veterans organizations are invited to bring their American flag and unit flag, and if possible, a color guard to participate in the opening ceremo- nY, which will include a parade of veterans organizations.
