Jane is survived by her three siblings and their mates, Eddie (Betty) White of Wilm- ington, Anna (lack) Lecates of Rehoboth, and Thomas White III of Lewes; and by her three children, Charlotte Eihinger (Paul), Linda Strusowski (Mike), and Buzz Bartlett (Debi), who provided her with 10 grand- children. They are Paul, Chris, Amanda, David, Rebecca, Mi- chael, Ashley, Shaun, Elizabeth, and Daniel. She also had five great-grandchildren. We would also like to thank all who have aided us and showed their kindness to our Mother over these past years. Thank you. A funeral service washeld Thursday, Nov. 6, at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington. Interment foIlowed the service at Old Drawyers Cemetery, Odessa. and son-in-law, Marilyn and Peter Pappas. She was born Nov. 15, !916. Mary is preceded in death by her first hus- band of 47 years, Irving H. Garton, M. 6arton-Port formerly of Dover, with whom she was blessed to have three children, William Garton of Smyrna, Richard Garton of Eure, N.C. (deceased), and Mari- lyn Pappas of Jacksonville. Mary was known lovingly as "Nana" to her seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mary is also preceded in death by her second husband of six years, Nelson Port of Rehoboth Beach. Though only a short six years together, they traveled and enjoyed every moment. Mary is also survived by her sister, Ruth Klemstine of Dela- ware. Mary celebrated life with a positive and loving attitude. She experienced much in her 98 years. She loved being with fam- ily and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love and guidance will be greatly missed by all. Services will be private per family request. Arrangements were conduct- ed by Johnson Funeral Home of Jacksonville, N.C. Beulah N.
