Hel- mets were cracking, pads were thumping and when the final whistle blew, Beacon took home a 44-30 victory. II The scoring began with a back- and-forth 8-8,16-16 tall!a The first half ended with Beacon taking a 30-16 lead. Mariner didn't go away as the team scored two touchdowns in the second half to pull it close "until the fourth quarter. Beacon ends the year with a 4-2 record while Mariner went 2-5 on the season. Lisa Klopp Kammerer is a 1991 Lock Haven gradu- ate who played on two NCAA Division II national champion- ship teams and was a first team All-American her senior year. t
