80 - CAPE , Friday, Nov. 9 - Nov. 15, 2001 Exhibit to open at Nassau Valley Nassau Valley V'meyards has offered the use of its gallery to the Artists' Exchange (logo above) for its second exhibit. The exhibit will open with a wine tasting and reception from 3 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18, and run through Dec. 30. Participat- ing artists include Julie Baxendall, Laura Hickman, Michael Krausz, Aina Nergaard-Nammack, Ellen Rice, Ellen Elms No- tar, Peggy Sampogna and Tuve Tuvesson. Now entering its second year following a remarkably suc- cessful launch year, members are preparing for their first col- lective exhibit in Washington, D.C., scheduled to take place at the Artists' Museum Gallery during March. The group meets monthly for lively and informative critiques of their work. The exhibit will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and from noon to 5 p.m, Sunday. Model Train & Toy Show slated in Hartly Nov. 17 The annual Model Train & Toy Show & Sale, sponsored by the Hartly Fire Company, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Hartly Fire Hall. The event will feature more than 150 tables of toys and trains, including Lionel, AM Flyer, Marx, scale trains, Hess trucks, farm toys, racing collectibles, Hot Wheels, miniatures, Matchbox, Star Wars collectibles and fire service collectibles. There will al- so be an operating train layout. Tickets are $3, spouses' tickets are $2 and children under 12 are 'admitted free when Occompanied by an adult. Free parking will be available. The Hartly Fire Company's ladies auxiliary will serve up breakfast and lunch, and door prizes will be given away every hour. Hartly is located 10 miles west of Dover.
