I a Ii Herring Memorial Shoot slated Nov. 18 The annual Christopher Scott Herring Memorial Shoot will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at Owens Station near Greenwood. The shoot provides continuous fund- ing to the Dr. Christoperh Scott Herring Memorial Scholarship fund which each year awards a Scholarship to a student from the Delmarva Peninsula who is attending Palmer Chiroprasctic College in Davenport, Iowa. Herring, who was killed in a single car crash in December 2001, was a local man who believed strongly in the value of education and in holistic type pedicines, particularly chiroprac- tic. He, in partnership with his brother, Dr. Gaett Herring., operated chiropractic clinics in Lewes and Milford until his untimely death. The shoot is not only for "shooters," but also provides an entertaining day for the entire family featuring a hot lunch for a nominal fee, Chinese auction and various raffles.
