Sl, Church Notes Men in Black set Nov. 16 at Friendship Baptist The annual Men in Black service will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, at Friendship Baptist Church, 500 W. Fourth Street in Lewes. The event is sponsored by the Men of Friendship Baptist Church. Outreach continues at Reformation Lutheran Reformation Lutheran Church of Milford continues to provide pro- grams for all ages and at a Variety of times to meet the schedules and needs of all individuals and families. Sunday church service is held at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday school for all grades is 9:45 a.m. There are several Bible study groups available for adults. Bible studies meet at 9 a.m. Wednesdays anti at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Each month the "retirees" of the church and community meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Milford Diner. The Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church group meet monthly for fellowship and programs. The church also operates a day care program licensed by the state for children from kindergarten to sixth grade. For more information about the Kids Inc., call Mary Lu Wilson at 422-9099. Reformation Lutheran also has a range of musical opportunities for children and adults though the children's choir, the adult choir and bell choirs for both children and adults. English as a second language classes meet from 5:15 to 9:15 p.m., Mondays and Thursdays. Many community projects, such as a Mitten Tree, are also provided by the church. Booker Street Ensemble choir event set for Nov. 15 Some of the best local choirs in the area will participate in the Booker- Street Ensemble pre-annual anniversary concert at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15 at the Cathedral in Concord. David Archibald, pastor of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Millsboro and St. Martin's in the Field in Selbyville, has begun offering a first and third Wednesday Eucharist (Communion) service at St. Mark's in Millsboro. Archibald said he holds the service at noon to meet the needs of those who work during the week. The service is "low- key and informal," according to Archibald, and is held in the chapel in the parish hall. St. Mark'sis located in downtown Millsboro. The weekly gathering takes place from 7:30 to 9 p.m., Tuesdays at 405 Rehoboth Avenue. The course is an in- spired, spiritually-based work consisting of 365 daily lessons and schol- arly text designed to cause a shift in perspective for each student.
