The Peninsula on Indian River Bay has received awards of excellence in new home sales from the National Sales and Marketing Council. Shown above is the Discovery Center, a state-of-the-art sales office at The Peninsula on Indian River Bay. The Peninsula on Indian River Bay receives national recognition The Peninsula On Indian River Bay, a luxury residential golf re- sort currently under development in Millsboro, received two Silver Awards and five regional awards for excellence in new home sales from the National Sales and Mar- keting Council (NSMC), a coun- cil of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). By winning Silver Awards for Best Sales Office and Best Brochure in the NSMC's "The Nationals" competitiori, The Peninsula becomes a finalist for the Gold Award that will be pre- sented Jan. 13 during the annual International Builders Show in Orlando, Fla. The Peninsula also walked away with regional awards for best electronic media, best website for a community and best color ad, as well as best sales office and best brochure. "These awards recognize the hard work of many people associ- ated with The Peninsula," said Larry A. Goldstein, developer of The Peninsula. "We have invested heavily in sales and marketing to insure that prospective buyers understand that The Peninsula will not be simply a high-end community with a golf course, but that it will be one of if not the finest luxury community on the East Coast. This recognition from the NAHB proves that our sales efforts and support materials are sending that exact message to our target buy- er." The Discovery Center is The Peninsula's state-of-artsales of- fice and greets buyers as they en- ter the front gate. Included in the center is a theater to view a fea- ture movie about the community, and a wall-sized interactive map of the property that allows buyers to find the locations of the differ- ent neighborhoods and the vari+ ous amenities offered by The Peninsula. In addition to housing the sales offices, an entire room is devoted" to Jack Nicklaus and the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, complete with a video featuring Jack discussing the Peninsula Golf Club that is scheduled to open in 2006.
