Milton Theatre Company to stage Christmas show The Milton Theatre Company is bringing the holiday musical, "Four Tickets to Christmas" to the Milton Theatre stage. The show opens on Thursday, Dec. 2 at the newly renovated the- atre at 108 Union Street in down- town Milton. A dramatic musical, "Four Tickets To Christmas," by Debo- rah Craign-Claar and Mark Hayes, is set at the turn of the cen- tury. A captivating score blends ragtime jazz, parlor music and even barbershop harmonies with a mix of traditional Christmas melodies and production num- bers. The Broadway-style musical fol- lows the escapades of an out-of- work, performing family who un- expectedly find themselves spending Christmas in a small ru- ral town in Delaware. By Christmas Eve, they've turned the town upside down and some of their own relation- ships around, This is a story of family mem- bers who learn the importance of following their own unique direc- tion in life, and about a season of beginnings. The show is directed by Suzette Riggin, with musical direction by Rebecca Marine and choreogra- phy by Maryl Fox. Period costumes and an elabo- rate set design (with special thanks to New Life Thrift Store for donating numerous costumes and props, and Wyoming Mill Works for donating more than $500 .worth of lumber) will com- plement a talented cast of local singers and actors. Brimming with nostalgia, hu- mor, poignant drama and a ster- ling score, "Four Tickets To Christmas" is a feel-good family musical. The show will be presented at 7 p.m., Dec. 2-5, with additional matinees at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4 and Sunday, Dec. 5. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under, if purchased in advance. Tickets are on sale now and can be reserved by calling 684-3400.
